Engelse Vlag
A wonderful set of 5 books on Antique Italian Needlework techniques

Engelse VlagIn 1989 Giuliana Buonpadre opened an embroidery workshop in the heart of the ancient city center of Verona, Italy. As a passionate embroiderer, she felt the need to express her creativity and at the same time preserve and share her knowledge of antique italian needlework techniques.
Giuliana's Workshops and School of Embroidery in Verona crystallised into a collection of five embroidery manuals entitled "Gli Antichi" (The Antique), which she wrote and illustrated "to preserve an art which has always allowed women to be in intimate contact with beauty". Each book is beautifully illustrated with photographs and detailed diagrams of each technique. Written instructions are in both English and Italian.
